The Beginning

Welcome to Vitago, the Wealth Apprentice. This site is dedicated to learning about anything that will make your rich life wealthy.

I am a very rich person. I have fantastic friends, a strong community and a loving family.

When it comes to wealth I just haven’t figured it out yet. And that is what Vitago is about - figuring out how to make more money than you spend. And figuring out how to make your money work for you. I’m coming at this from a businessman’s perspective. I have started several businesses watched them build up and then run over me.

I’ve had a lot of fun with this process. And I’ve learned a lot. But my situation has changed. I can’t keep imploding the way I have because now I have a family and their well-being is my top concern.

So much for fun… maybe.

(Probably not.)

This last disaster was spectacular! And because I had a process of defining my process I was able to catch the areas that I messed up and address them. Now I am slowly rebuilding. Righting the inadvertent wrongs, reclaiming customers and most important correcting my character defects that allowed this to happen. I also discovered there were critical gaps in my education that allowed small problems to grow into big ones.

Vitago is my record of lessons learned the hard way. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit this site is for you. If you are transitioning from peon to manager this site is for you, too. And if you are just trying to get a better understanding of wealth this site is definitely for you.

Because this website is my journey to understanding I’m going to ask you for a big favor: help me out by commenting. This can be a “thank you” or a question or a correction or a link to a better resource. Your comments will let me know that real people are out there reading my words, digesting them for inspiration and understanding and in turn inspire me to continue. Anyone that has started a new enterprise like starting a family or creating a business knows that self-destruction from frustration is the biggest enemy.

Thank you and remember: it’s all in your head!
